Polytechnics Mauritius is recruiting a Part-Time Lecturer in Animation and Motion Graphics to deliver engaging, practical, and level-appropriate training to students.
The lecturer will contribute to delivering Introduction to 2D and 3D Animation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical, project-based animation and motion graphics training
- Design course content, learning materials and assessments
- Guide students in appropriate animation and motion graphics software
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback
- Use digital teaching tools and LMS platforms to support blended learning
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Undergraduate degree in Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field, with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience; OR a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience: Relevant professional experience in 2D/3D animation and motion graphics; tertiary teaching experience is an advantage
Skills: Strong practical animation knowledge; ability to design and deliver project-based training; knowledge of relevant industry software; strong visual communication and classroom management skills
Portfolio: All applicants must submit a professional portfolio demonstrating relevant practical work, projects and industry experience in the specialist area for which they are applying (specially for design and marketing relevance part). The portfolio should clearly demonstrate the applicant’s level of technical competence, creativity and professional practice.
