Polytechnics Mauritius is recruiting a Part-Time Lecturer in 3D Graphics and Modeling to deliver engaging, practical and level-appropriate training to students. The lecturer will contribute to delivering Introduction to 3D Graphics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical 3D graphics and modeling training
- Design course content, learning materials and assessments
- Guide students through modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering
- Evaluate student projects and provide constructive feedback
- Use digital teaching tools and LMS platforms to support blended learning
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Undergraduate degree in 3D Design, Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience; OR a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience: Relevant professional experience in 3D modelling and graphics; tertiary teaching experience is an advantage
Skills: Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering; knowledge of relevant professional software; strong project supervision skills
Portfolio: All applicants must submit a professional portfolio demonstrating relevant practical work, projects and industry experience in the specialist area for which they are applying (specially for design and marketing relevance part). The portfolio should clearly demonstrate the applicant’s level of technical competence, creativity and professional practice.
