Polytechnics Mauritius is recruiting a Part-Time Lecturer in Business Management and Human Resource Management to deliver engaging, practical and level-appropriate training to students. The lecturer will contribute to delivering Operations Management and Introduction to Human Resource Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Business Management and HR modules
- Design course content, learning materials and assessments
- Use case studies and practical business examples
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Use digital teaching tools and LMS platforms
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, Management or related field, with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience; OR a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience: Relevant professional experience in management and/or HR; tertiary teaching experience is an advantage
Skills: Sound knowledge of management and HR practices; strong facilitation, communication and classroom management skills
Portfolio: All applicants must submit a professional portfolio demonstrating relevant practical work, projects and industry experience in the specialist area for which they are applying (specially for design and marketing relevance part). The portfolio should clearly demonstrate the applicant’s level of technical competence, creativity and professional practice.
