Polytechnics Mauritius is recruiting a Part-Time Lecturer in Business Law to deliver engaging, practical and level-appropriate training to students. The lecturer will contribute to the delivery of Introduction to Business Law.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Business Law modules
- Design course content, learning materials and assessments
- Use relevant case studies and practical business situations
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Use digital teaching tools and LMS platforms
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Undergraduate degree in Law or related field, with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience; OR a Master’s degree in Law or related field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience: Relevant professional experience in business, commercial or corporate law; tertiary teaching experience is an advantage
Skills: Sound knowledge of business and commercial law; ability to contextualise legal principles for business students; strong communication skills
Portfolio: All applicants must submit a professional portfolio demonstrating relevant practical work, projects and industry experience in the specialist area for which they are applying (specially for design and marketing relevance part). The portfolio should clearly demonstrate the applicant’s level of technical competence, creativity and professional practice.
