Building on the underpinning knowledge of a higher certificate, this one-year advanced programme provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to manage athletes, teams or sport and recreation projects. In addition to learning about NGO and SRF enterprises, studies include advanced sport marketing and athlete and team representation thus, you learn about sport law and how this is applied to the management of individuals and sport teams. With this advanced certificate you can work as a sport agent, team manager, sport manager or events manager, ensuring the success of events, projects or people in the world of sport and recreation.
After successful completion of this programme, you will have the opportunity to enrol in the Bachelor of Management in Sport & Leisure.

This course is ideal for those who want to apply administration and business management skills to sport at a community or recreational level. It is further recommended for individuals who currently work at a recreation facility and would like the ability to manage a sport tournament within the community and implement a volunteer strategy to achieve event outcomes. It can additionally be beneficial for individuals who see themselves co-ordinating athlete and team support, including sports team logistics, public relations and media liaison.

If you have not completed any recognised Diploma or Degree before, then you will definitely enjoy the privilege under the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) for the whole duration of course, offered by the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology.
