With no specific prior experience or knowledge required, the course gradually introduces every important core element of hotel management and instils advanced-level skills, confidence and industry-specific understanding. This Diploma covers every aspect of hotel operations and will aid students in learning how to manage and operate front desk and cleaning operations, banquets and events, as well as basic food and beverage operations. The meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) sector, ecotourism, entrepreneurship, food and beverage business and room divisions are just a few of the prospects that students will experience during their study.

PATHWAY TO HIGHER STUDIES

After successful completion of this international Diploma, you will have the opportunity to connect to a Bachelor degree abroad.

Alternatively, you will also be able to articulate into higher education institutions in Mauritius and continue to benefit from the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES).

Fees

The cost of the course will vary according to the mode of delivery (full time/part time) you will opt. We are one of the institutions offering the same course at a very affordable price that suit your budget. Should you wish to sit for an examination, additional fees will be applicable depending on the examination centre.

Application Fee: Rs 1,000 (one-off, Non refundable)

Admin Fee: Rs 8000 (Annually Payable at the Start of the Academic year)

Exam Fee: Rs 800 (per module)

Additional Fees may be applicable.

If you have not completed any recognised Diploma or Degree before, then you will definitely enjoy the privilege under the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) for the whole duration of the course, offered by the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Research. This applies only to local students pursuing their studies on Full Time basis. Only Application and Administration fee will be applicable.
