Polytechnics Mauritius students proudly took part in the IET Codefest 2025, a 24-hour AI model development hackathon hosted by Middlesex University Mauritius on 6–7 September 2025. We are thrilled to announce that a team of our students, namely David Emilie and Deeyan Bansroy from Diploma in Robotics and Automation Engineering together with Lavish Rao B. Somi, Deevesh Rughoo and Immanuel James Wong Hon Leung from Diploma in Emerging Technology, emerged as the 1st Runner Up in this intense challenge of creativity, problem-solving and teamwork.
