A healthcare assistant, also known as an HCA, plays a vital role in caring for people.
The programme has been designed to yield Health Care Assistants who can assist in offering patients and their families, safe holistic care which recognizes individual emotional, cultural, and socio-economic needs.
The program offers a variety of opportunities to develop the professional skills, knowledge, and values necessary for assisting in the delivery of effective nursing practice which includes basic nursing skills, critical awareness of issues impacting nursing services among others.
